In late July, we received our Articles of Organization to become Suntied Transport, LLC. It seems to have been a smooth transition for everyone. Thank you to everyone for you help and support.

Also, in more recent news is the completion of our first Safety Audit by the FMCSA. Since we are still operating, it is obvious that we have passed the test. Although it is only a Pass or Fail grading system, I am at liberty to give us a B+. The audit was performed by The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio two days after the winds of Ike knocked out the power all over Ohio including our office. We meet in downtown Columbus and I failed to bring all of the proper paperwork. If it wasn’t for that, I would give us an A-, which is still pretty good. By the way, we have still maintained our 100% on time rating after over 150 loads delivered!

You would think that after delivering over 100 loads, at least one would be late due to a breakdown or traffic jam. Well, not with Suntied Transport. Sure we have had breakdowns and seen our share of traffic jams, but we still manage to get the load there when it is, or in most cases, before it is supposed to be there. This was our goal when we started and we are still doing it safely, and professionally, load after load.

We have currently delivered 50+ loads since our authority was authorized. Every load was early with the exception of 2 that were right on time (at Wal-Mart’s). I’m not bragging, just thought any potential customers would like to know our record.
