With all the difficult changes in the trucking industry, many individual owner operators are doing a lot of complaining. That must surely be the last thing that brokers, shippers, and receivers want to here, so they won’t here it from us. Oh, I grunted a bit at first, but that doesn’t help anyone. I’ve always believed in taking a bull by horns, so I helped start a trucking company. With other like minded people I’ve worked both for and with, I’m sure this company will be a success. Our success will come with the satisfaction of our customers. I’ve thought about what would do just that, and that seems like what I’ve been doing for twenty years. In my earlier years I started out delivering to restaurants where sometimes as many as ten employees were brought in just to unload the truck. With that many people waiting for you, with nothing else to do until you got there, you just had to be on time. I simply thought it was better for everyone, if I waited for them. That situation started a mindset that has stayed with me throughout every type of delivery system. Why would I change my ways now? Everything is so much easier when everybody is happy. So, I’m going to make everybody happy, one truck load at a time, not just on time, but ahead of time.

Almost all the products needed and used everyday are shipped by truck so I guess its safe to say “trucking is here to stay“. Over the years we have learned that integrity, dignity, honesty, and hard work are the driving forces behind any successful operation.
